The Shirley Family Farms
Cultivation · Portland, St. Thomas & St. AndrewWhere it begins: high-elevation farms across three parishes, tended by hand and picked cherry by cherry at peak ripeness.
Shirley Estate begins where the clouds settle: in the cool, misted slopes of Jamaica's Blue Mountains, where coffee cherries ripen slowly over long seasons instead of being rushed to harvest.
We distribute only certified beans grown within the protected Blue Mountain region, sourced through our family's own supply chain and hand-graded before every shipment leaves Jamaica.
High-altitude cultivation across the Blue Mountain slopes of Portland, St. Thomas and St. Andrew parishes.
The signature cloud cover provides natural shading and regulates temperature.
Ideal moisture levels slow the maturation process for a denser, sweeter bean.
This isn't brokered coffee. It's grown on our own land and long-standing partner farms across Portland, St. Thomas and St. Andrew, milled and exported by the family at Stoneleigh, with no distributor markup in between.
“Over 40 years ago, St. Clair Shirley decided to follow his dream and farm the fabled Jamaica Blue Mountains. Today, we bring that legacy straight to your door.”

Shirley Estate is not a label. It is the work of four houses, each devoted to a single stage of the same coffee: from parish soil to the cup it is finally poured into.
Where it begins: high-elevation farms across three parishes, tended by hand and picked cherry by cherry at peak ripeness.
The family's own works, led by master roaster Stephen Shirley: washing, drying and curing the green bean, and the craft of the roast itself.
Only coffee that passes the JACRA standard moves on. Each lot arrives here weighed, sealed and cleared for the crossing, certificate in hand.
The name on the bag. Small allocations, every one traced to its certified lot, delivered to your door wherever you pour it.
“Most coffee changes hands a dozen times before it reaches you. Ours moves through four houses, and it never leaves the family’s sight.”
The Shirley FamilyFounded by St. Clair Shirley and carried by three generations of one family, from the Blue Mountain parishes to your door.
The founder. The standard every Shirley Estate lot is measured against is the one he set, and he still holds the house to it.
Chief executive and master roaster of Stoneleigh: from the curing floors to the roast profile of every lot that carries the family name.
